In the early days, every ambitious organisation begins with a spark—an energised culture of action. Problems are tackled head-on. Teams say “yes” before they know how, and then figure it out on the fly. It’s a can-do environment, brimming with optimism and drive.
This can-do spirit is powerful. It enables rapid response, breeds resilience, and creates heroes. Yet, over time, the very behaviours that built the organisation begin to work against it. Beneath the flurry of activity, something breaks down.
